Quote:
“So if you're struggling, know that it’s not in vain.
And let that carry you through the agonizing pain.
Because the kindness you extend, could have never been so sincere.
If not for the challenges, you were forced to bear.
And one day,
You’ll be the reason someone else doesn't feel alone.
And that feeling will soften every ache.”

“At the start of my second year of high school, I stopped waiting for an invitation. I decided to be the Welcome Mat I had been searching for. I propped the classroom door open and hung the “Cool 2 Be Kind” sign for my new club and laid an actual welcome mat outside. When people hide their welcome mats from me, I … create a community where everyone is welcome, regardless of status, wealth, family situation, looks, or dietary needs. This wasn’t just a slogan; it was the freshman who felt alone at lunch until we asked them to join us, the girl with celiac who finally felt accepted, like she was more than her disease. It started with one mat outside my club’s door, but it won’t be the last.”

“Do not turn their cruelty into a weapon against yourself. Do not become the echo in their voices. If no one comes, then let it be you…Your pain is something no one else can experience for you, but that also means your happiness is something no one else gets to define.”
Daniel Zou
Quote:
“Bully is not only a person. It is a philosophical concept when someone reaches maximum power…This is a cycle.”
Rachel Chong
Quote:
“I’ve never had a real friend before for the past 4 years of this bullying. Maybe he can be my first friend after this. At least, I hope. Hope. My new favorite word. I’m not numb anymore. I’m sure.”
Elementary School

Quote:
“This year is the worst, and I consider not coming most days, not because I’m lazy or anything. But I’m tired. Tired of having to go through the same thing every day with a different title. But the same moral of the story…. Having beef or hating someone for something is like carrying eggs everywhere you go. It gets rotten and smells bad; it doesn’t make you look or feel good. So everyone needs to stop carrying beef and hate everywhere you go.”
Gabby Gomez
